This year’s Winter Festival finished with a bang on Tuesday as Solomon’s Knot presented a dazzling performance of Bach’s seasonal masterpiece, Christmas Oratorio, and we’re pleased to share some photo highlights of our favourite festival moments with you.
We’ve had some great reviews of this year’s festival performances, with George Hall praising Solomon’s Knot’s “single-minded energy” in his four-star review in the Guardian. Andrew Benson-Wilson enjoyed the “splendid sound” of The Marian Consort in their programme of renaissance polyphony which he highlighted as “very well conceived and planned”, with Curtis Rogers adding that “The Marian Consort’s execution could hardly be faulted” in this Classical Source review.
