Festival Stewarding

Stewarding is an easy and enjoyable way to give something to your local community or to find out about a new one. Audiences repeatedly tell us that the high quality, friendly volunteers who run our festivals are part of a unique Spitalfields flavour.

Here’s what stewards have said about working with us:

I would just like to say that I had a brilliant time volunteering for Spitalfields Music! I saw some amazing venues and great performances and everybody from the organisation was incredibly nice – you made it so easy for the volunteers. From now on I am one of the many fans of Spitalfields Music.

Be part of the festival front-of-house team

Volunteer to be the public face of the festival for our audiences and participants by giving a morning, lunchtime, an afternoon or evening to help make an event happen. As a festival steward you will be working as part of a passionate and motivated team to welcome, inform and look after the safety of our audiences and participants. You will meet new people, work in interesting venues and hear some fantastic music.

We actively encourage people from all backgrounds to join us – the only prerequisites are to be 18 or over, enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and committed to making Spitalfields Music even better. No special expertise is required and full training will be provided.
