Arun Ghosh wins Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year

Last Tuesday, our Associate Artist Arun Ghosh was named Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards.

Now in their tenth year, the Awards honour the best performers and composers on the British jazz scene.

Arun is makes three appearances at this year’s Summer Festival, the premiere of a newly composed work inspired by the stories and experiences of migrants to the local area Spitalfields Suite. He presents an evening of interactive music-making, celebrating East End’s tradition of work songs, parlour songs and more with Tales of Tradition & Trade. And finally, joins the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for The Night Shift E1.
