SoundBox

Are you a young person aged 11+? Do you enjoy making music and meeting new people?

As something that can be heard, played, seen and shared by everyone we believe in the inclusivity and accessibility of music for all. Soundbox is an all-ability inclusive music collective that brings together disabled and non-disabled musicians aged 11+ from East London and beyond to make and create music using a mixture of traditional instruments, music technology and singing.

WHO?
Soundbox is for young people 11+ interested in:
• Experimenting with music technology and instruments
• Being creative with musicians from different backgrounds
• Meeting new people and working collaboratively
• Being part of a unique music ensemble

Here is what some young people who took part last year said about the project:
“Soundbox is about making sure everybody gets a go and all the players make the music.”
“It’s brilliant and inspiring. Truly amazing music making.”
