BAFTA Award-winning screenwriter and lifelong East Ender Alan Gilbey invites you to join him on a journey in the footsteps of Arthur Morrison to hear tales of the mean streets of Spitalfields and beyond. To coincide with his new book, East End Backpassages: an explorer’s guide, Alan and other local writers and performers come together for a Shoreditch remix of his sold out Summer Festival event to create an immersive experience which is part oral history event, part site specific performance and full of intrigue.
