New Young Voice Collective

Tuesday evenings during term time, 5:00-7:00pm

Spotlight Youth Centre

If you’re a young person living in East London and you love to sing, come and join us!

PRICE: Free

NewYVC is a free, non-auditioned, friendly youth vocal group, singing everything from music by pop giants and soul legends, through musicals and movie hits, to world and folk music and classical greats.  We rehearse every Tuesday during term time from 5:00-7:00pm.

The collective is led by Naveen Arles, co-led by Emma Williams and assisted by jazz icon Steve Lodder on piano.  NewYVC is different from your average singing group and thanks to our commitment to learning, many members have gone on to lead groups of their own or take up amazing roles in the music industry.

You’ll learn lots about music and musicianship, meet new people, and have the chance to perform throughout the year in exciting venues and special events, including with our partners, the BBC Singers.

Interested in joining?

We’re looking for new members aged 18 and under – join us for a trial session to see if you’d like to be part of the group. Just come along to Spotlight 15 minutes before the rehearsal starts (4:45pm) and get involved!
